We are very excited to welcome David, Kike and Luke to our coaching internship!
From this week you may see them observing the classes closely and scribbling away in their notebooks as they take notes on the coaches leading your class.
So, lets find out a little about this trio...
Alfredo Enrique Yepes (you know him as Kike!) was born in Cartagena, Colombia. He played basketball throughout his time at school and University, spent time training amateur MMA, Brazilian jujitsu and freestyle wrestling... Basically, don't get into a brawl with this dude!
"I want to help people to reach their goals, I want to pass on the knowledge and I want to help educate our community" - Kike
Luke 'All Day' Haywood needs no introduction. One of CrossFit 1864's OGs, Luke has lived in London nearly all his life apart from a spell in Belgium where he worked as a Personal Trainer. He is currently a builder/plasterer with 18 years in the trade.
"What I enjoy most about CrossFit is the community. Never have I come across such a varied bunch of like-minded people that have nothing but support and words of encouragement day in and day out for each other. " - Luke Haywood
David Caetano was born and raised in Portugal before moving to Norway when he was 17 years old. In 2014, David moved to London to start his BA in Architecture (for which he handed in his final final portfolio just over a week ago!). Growing up he played multiple sports such as football, tennis and American football. However, swimming was always his jam!
"What I enjoy the most is the mental challenge, every workout is a chance of doing the best you can. I want to help others achieve their goals through helping them to improve their mental approach and movement patterns. I believe those are the keys components to achieve any goal." - David Caetano
