Class Planning System 

  • The total time of a class is 55min, Not 60 min

  • Subtract the total time of the Workout, the time left is what you have to plan your class

  • Pick one movement of the Workout, that should be the main focus of your class (usually it’ll be the most complex one)

  • Plan how long you are going to spend teaching the movement, this should include anything necessary to get the class ready for the Workout

  • Subtract the teaching time from the time you had left

  • The rest of the movements should be included in your general warm up, plan the warm up with those movements as a focus

  • Subtract the time of your warm up from the rest of the time 

  • You need to plan your white board brief, you must include:

  1. Introductions of new members, it’s key everyone must know each other

  2. Explain briefly the stimulus of the Workouts, don’t go into details keep it fun

  • Your WBB must not take longer than 5 min

  • Total class time is: WBB + WarmUp + Workout + Debrief = 55min
