Class Planning System
The total time of a class is 55min, Not 60 min
Subtract the total time of the Workout, the time left is what you have to plan your class
Pick one movement of the Workout, that should be the main focus of your class (usually it’ll be the most complex one)
Plan how long you are going to spend teaching the movement, this should include anything necessary to get the class ready for the Workout
Subtract the teaching time from the time you had left
The rest of the movements should be included in your general warm up, plan the warm up with those movements as a focus
Subtract the time of your warm up from the rest of the time
You need to plan your white board brief, you must include:
Introductions of new members, it’s key everyone must know each other
Explain briefly the stimulus of the Workouts, don’t go into details keep it fun
Your WBB must not take longer than 5 min
Total class time is: WBB + WarmUp + Workout + Debrief = 55min
