The miles go up.
So do the niggles.
Your plan is all miles. As the long runs grow, your body starts to feel it: tight hips, sore knees, heavy legs.
Plenty of runners never make the start line, and many more finish slower than they hoped.
Strong legs and a strong core help you handle the miles.

questions.
When should I start strength training before a marathon?
The earlier the better. Starting 12 weeks or more before your race gives you time to build strength before mileage peaks.
Will it leave my legs too tired to run?
No. Your coach scales the load so your sessions support your runs rather than wreck them.
Is it useful for a half marathon too?
Yes. The same approach works for halves, 10ks and anything in between.
What is the 14-day pass?
14 days of coached classes for £39. If you join before your pass ends, we credit the £39 back against your membership.
